new Car

I still can't believe it but finally my car search came to an end. Last Thursday I found a car at the dealer in Gambrills and I really liked. Because I was scared that maybe the car was gone until Saturday, my lovely boyfriend decided to go straight after work to take a look at the car. He liked it and took it right away on a test drive. He put a deposit on the car that they would hold if until Saturday for me.

We had a visitor from Germany this weekend, so all three of us - JT, Juliane and me -  went as early as possible to the dealer. I looked at the car and took it on a test drive. And I liked it! It is a Hyundai Accent GL from 2000. It is a really car and it's enough to commute ;) I was so happy that the search was finally over. We finished the paperwork and after 3 hrs of waiting (they had to fix something at the shop), I went home with my car :D

I told my employers on Sunday and decided to drive to work on Monday morning. I saw the weather prediction for Monday morning and it said 4-5 inches of snow. But I thought that it wasn't correct at all the last times... yea until JT woke up to go to work and 10 minutes later woke me up too, to tell me that it snowed... Ahhhhh so I got ready around 5.30 am this morning and left the house (after a test drive) around 6.20 am.

It was not bad at all to drive and I was not the only one who didn't thought the weather prediction would be right this time. No snow trucks nothing prepared the streets, but they were fine to drive. After 50 minutes I arrived in Bethesda. It was so beautiful this morning with all the snow on the trees. But yea that was a perfect test drive for my new car :D
