Engagement and family stuff :)

Finally I had time to post this awesome news :)

My parents were here for two weeks and my man decided to take the next step and I asked my dad for my hand in marriage :) we all went for a little beach vacation to Rehoboth Beach in Deleware and he proposed to me at the beach <3 just perfect!!!

Otherwise it was a wonderful time to have my parents here with us. They love it in Maryland and the goodbye was really hard. They just had compliments for my now fiance and they all liked each other :) it was just perfect! Even the Reunion of our families was a success :D

April's Fool Day & Easter Sunday

This year my April's Fool Day was more of a "good-news" day :D

Finally, I got the respond for my petition I filled in to change my residency status at UMUC and I got approved :D so in the next couple of weeks I will get the difference between out-of-state and in-state tuition back *juhuuuu* and I passed two of my classes. And still one to go :)

And our Easter Sunday we just spent with relaxing ;) we had a nice breakfast and I gave JT is Easter surprise. So nothing too big ;) For dinner JT cooked again something really delicious :D

new Car

I still can't believe it but finally my car search came to an end. Last Thursday I found a car at the dealer in Gambrills and I really liked. Because I was scared that maybe the car was gone until Saturday, my lovely boyfriend decided to go straight after work to take a look at the car. He liked it and took it right away on a test drive. He put a deposit on the car that they would hold if until Saturday for me.

We had a visitor from Germany this weekend, so all three of us - JT, Juliane and me -  went as early as possible to the dealer. I looked at the car and took it on a test drive. And I liked it! It is a Hyundai Accent GL from 2000. It is a really car and it's enough to commute ;) I was so happy that the search was finally over. We finished the paperwork and after 3 hrs of waiting (they had to fix something at the shop), I went home with my car :D

I told my employers on Sunday and decided to drive to work on Monday morning. I saw the weather prediction for Monday morning and it said 4-5 inches of snow. But I thought that it wasn't correct at all the last times... yea until JT woke up to go to work and 10 minutes later woke me up too, to tell me that it snowed... Ahhhhh so I got ready around 5.30 am this morning and left the house (after a test drive) around 6.20 am.

It was not bad at all to drive and I was not the only one who didn't thought the weather prediction would be right this time. No snow trucks nothing prepared the streets, but they were fine to drive. After 50 minutes I arrived in Bethesda. It was so beautiful this morning with all the snow on the trees. But yea that was a perfect test drive for my new car :D

The first few days back in the States

After arriving at Dulles airport, I could still not believe it! Just to strange! I quickly went to immigration and after many questions I was back in the States :D My employer was not there yet, but after a short time they came to pick me up. At my new home ​my boss told me the first things. After that we went all out for dinner at an Irish pub in Bethesda. But the evening ended early for me - Hello JETLEG :D but well, I have a nice bed ;)

The next day I was super excited ;) why? My boyfriend wanted to pick me up after working. The day went by really quickly and the little one and I get along very well :) And then JT came and close after two months we had each other back ;) The rest of the weekend I spent with JT and we surprised our friends in our favorite bar. And I must say, it went pretty well :D Monica almost fell off her chair as she saw me and Evan just freaked out that I'm back in the states :)
